SCUBA DIVING and Two Drunken Dutches!

Ko Pagnang...

Hallo (Hello in Dutch!)

Well first of all we went Scub Diving...and yes it was amazing! No seriously amazing! Its like your in a different world down there. First of all the journey there was a bit rough...poor little Lene was sick and I mean really sick:( We had a good tutor, a French-Canadian called Bernie who was a really cool guy. He gave us some safety instructions before we went in and I started to worry! My head was going crazy, I was thinking stuff like 'what happens if I can't swim?'...'what happens if everything is too heavy?'...stupid I know!

Anyway we got our gear on and poor Lene was really ill, we had to get her in the water asap because she had nothing more to sick out! Well there I was ready to jump in...all my gear on (I looked a fool but can't seem to upload any pictures from the scuba but will sort them soon!). When we got in the water we had to swim on our backs and I am really as poor swimmer:(

When we got to our destination we had to go through our safety exercises and Lene went first. Like a true pro she passed them with ease. Whilst she was doing this I was trying to get use to the breathing mask...seriously I looked like a right wimp. I couldn't get used to breathing through my mouth, as your nose is in the mask and there is no air! It took me longer to get use to this and also longer to do the saftey exercises...but I got there in the end!

When we went down it was one of the most amazing experiences that I have ever done! Me and Lene held hands and swam through coral, it was so nice and blue, purple and reds! Also there were thousands of fish! All the colours you could imagine! Big ones, small ones, fat ones, thin ones...it really was one of the highlights not only of my trip but my life!

We had lunch and as soon as Lene got on the boat she was ill again:( The water was really rough and the boat was moving up and down. I managed to get some food and the curry on the boat was really nice:)

After we got back in the water for our second dive and this was better because we had more time and we felt like pros! We dived to about 15 meters and swam around this rock with the coral and fish everywhere! Poor Lene scratched her self a few times on the coral...but the best thing was we held hands and swam together and nothing at that moment in time could have topped that experience.

We got back on the boat and poor Lene was ill again! However I was a gentleman on the way home and whilst she was sleeping I protected her (as best as I could) from the crashing waves coming into the boat:)

Without a doubt Scuba Diving is one of the best sports that I have ever done and I can not wait until the Philipines to dive again:)

Also on our trip in Ko Pagnang we have met two Dutch girls (a bit crazy and 100% strange:) ) Nienke and Anke and if I'm honest they can drink more thyan me:( as proven last night when I had to go home about 1 am and they carried on drinking till 5!

Anke on the left and Nienke on the right...crazy...just crazy!

We are now going to plan the next few days and I think were gonna go Quad biking tomorrow and were waiting for the Black Moon party! Were gonna get our drink on and play games that involves hair spray and the odd cucumber or two:) (private joke)

P.S Dad I will make sure next time I remember what kind of diving I'm doing!
